Happy Friday!!

I'm linking up with Lauren :)

One:: Corinne and I went to yoga rocks the park on Sunday...featuring guest yogi Tina Porter (Sponsored by Sound Method Yoga) from Denver.  Although I was having a hard time concentrating due to the heat/sun...Tina was inspiring!  She started the class off in a large closely connected circle where she spoke about community, connectivity, and breathing in blue and out gold (Peace and Love). The whole experience was deeply gratifying.  If you're interested - check out the link, this Sunday is the last week!!

Two:: After yoga, Corinne and I had our first fashion photography shoot!  She modeled for me while I worked on my camera skills!  It's much harder than I was expecting to be a photographer, even an amateur.  I don't have them up on the blog yet because I'm still going through everything in Photoshop and Lightroom.  Hopefully next week I'll have LBD's first fashion post!

Three:: Since I was short on photos for this week anyways...I couldn't resist this pic of Wally laying by my favorite piece of art.  My Kent Bellows' Gluttony hangs above my couch and is my most treasured piece for so many different reasons.  Learn more about Kent's legacy here

Four:: My book club finished the book Exit Wounds by Rutu Modan and had our discussion on Wednesday evening.  I was surprised how much I loved this book - even as a graphic novel I was impressed with the depth of characters, quick moving story line, and such unique artwork.  Considering how short the story was in reality, there was much to discuss regarding the intricate plot and the authors developed way of getting us to read between the lines.  Book Forum review here.

Five::  I don't think I can accurately express how much this post meant to me when I saw it yesterday.  TOTALLY made my day, I still struggle to comprehend that people do actually read my blog - and I deeply, deeply thank you.  In other exciting blog news - LBD was featured by Delight Gluten Free Magazine!  Here's the interview!

I hope you had a wonderful week!  I have a pretty crazy weekend coming up with a family wedding - hopefully there will be a little freetime somewhere!

How was your week?  Link up and share in the comments!

Always, J
