Smoothies!

It's much too hot to cook...  Here's two of my favorite smoothie recipes so far!





1 piece of cantaloupe 
1 banana
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup carrot juice

*Blend together and enjoy!

I have a very cheap blender so I have to add more liquid to get things going...You may not need quite as much depending on your blender abilities. 




1 1/2 cup Almond milk *additional if necessary
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
3/4 cup frozen chopped kale
1 heaping teaspoon of raw honey

*Blend together and enjoy immediately!

I am a huge fan of juicing, but it just got to be so much work cleaning the machine...so I'm talking a juice break and trying smoothies for awhile!!  More recipes to come :)
